Excited fans lined up to get autographs from West Ham legend Julian Dicks at a meet and greet event in Romford.

The 90s football star made an appearance at the Worldwide Signings Memorabilia shop in Romford Shopping Hall on April 20 where he did a Q&A and then went on to sign t-shirts, caps and more.

An enthusiastic visitor, Mike Linnane, got his leg signed by Julian and then went and got it tattooed.

Ray Freebody, who got his picture taken with Julian, shared that he had been a follower of the football club since 1957.

Another fan, Chris Brown, got his Europa shirt signed while a 9-year-old Mitchell Everett received an autograph on a t-shirt he had worn as a baby that now has many signatures on it.

Andrew Brace, of Worldwide Signings Memorabilia shop, told the Recorder that the event was fully sold out and they couldn’t fit anyone else into the shop.

“It was a day full of nostalgia, laughs and honesty. We had so many good stories. I think everyone went back with a really good feel for it.

“I got a call from Julian last night that he really enjoyed the day meeting fans and he thanked me for inviting him down”, he added.
