Royal British Legion veterans are helping Afghanistan war heroes overcome combat stress.

The Barking branch of the group meets every second Tuesday of the month from 7.30pm at St Margaret’s Church in The Broadway.

The legion also helps with home furnishings and organises hospital visits. For more information, call their secretary Steve Newson on 07970 228 080.
