A 17-year-old charged with terrorism offences is set to appear in court today.

The teenager, from east London, was charged with six counts of dissemination of terrorist material and two counts of possession of documents of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested in east London on Tuesday, September 26.
