AN INVESTIGATION is underway after a barn fire near Weston.
Fire crews were called to the barn off Bridgwater Road at about 2.30pm yesterday (Sat).
On arrival fire crews from Weston and Winscombe found the barn, which was about 30 metres by 10 metres in size and had 100 tons of hay inside, well alight.
The fire also affected electrical cables, and fire crews eventually brought the fire under control using hose reels.
The police were also called to the incident as it is beleiveed the blaze was started deliberately.
A fire investigation is currently underway.
