Police have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed and seriously injured on a residential road in Dagenham.
Officers were called to Waterbeach Road off Porters Avenue near Parsloes Park at 10.30pm last night where they found a 21-year-old man from Dagenham suffering from three stab wounds.
He survived the incident but he had to be taken to hospital.
A police spokeswoman said: “The victim’s injuries are serious but not considered to be life threatening. He is currently under observation in hospital.
“Anyone who witnessed or has information concerning this incident should contact Barking and Dagenham Police by dialling 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Please quote reference number 5114209/12.”
Teenagers were forced to flee from their beds after their family car erupted in flames which licked at the front of their home following an arson attack.
