Police are appealing for witnesses after a 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in a Chadwell Heath park.
The girl was in St Chads Park with her friend at 9pm on May 25 when the man approached the pair and tried to start a conversation.
He then grabbed the teenager’s buttocks from behind and attempted to pull down her leggings, before running off via Japan Road, into Chadwell Heath High Road, in the direction of Sainsbury’s.
The suspect is described as a black man, aged around 28, with shaved black hair. He was wearing dark jeans, a white t-shirt and flip flops.
