An unidentified man narrowly missed being hit by two trains at Barking station after he made a dash from police officers.
Having jumped onto the tracks in front of a District line train, he then crossed a platform and jumped onto another track forcing an Overground train driver to apply the emergency brakes.
British Transport Police have released CCTV images of the man they wish to speak with regarding the incident, which happened on Saturday, September 7.
PC Phil Church said: “The man was approaching the station concourse when he noticed a number of uniformed police officers.
“Upon seeing this, the man ran down the stairs, jumped on the tracks and crossed to platform four.
“Here he ran along to platform three before he again trespassed on the tracks, narrowly missing being hit by a District line Tube train, as he headed towards platform one.
“He again ran onto the tracks as a London Overground train was approaching, forcing the driver to apply the emergency brakes, before running from the station.”
