Dagenham beauty queen to battle it out for Mrs World crown

A beauty pageant queen is representing the UK at an international competition in China.

Dance teacher Sarah Rich, who grew up in Dagenham, is one of 70 women who are battling it out over the next week to be crowned Mrs World.

The 27-year-old, who was married last year, has previously won the coveted Miss Essex title and was runner-up in the Miss Supranational UK contest in October.

Last month she modelled at Dubai fashion week in London where she paraded a selection of bridal wear and other beautiful formal gowns.
