About 150 parishioners are set to attend 10.30am services on Good Friday and Easter Sunday at Dagenham Parish Church in Crown Street.

Rev Reith, 57, said: “We are aiming at the seven-year-olds so that pretty much everybody can come. We’ve got to make it interesting to people who have never stepped into a church all their lives.”

The church will re-enact the Last Supper with a 6.30pm Passover meal tomorrow.
