Dagenham girls had the times of their lives after going an Only Fools and Horses-type outing to Margate.
The 50 or so women wore animal outfits for the ninth annual trip including dancing and singing in pubs in the Kent seaside town.
Mum-of-two Jade Roovers, 30, of Wythenshawe Road, said: “It was brilliant. Ninety per cent of the women who go are mothers. It’s nice to have a little break and be a woman instead of a mum or a wife.”
The June 16 outing is named after the sit-com’s Christmas special, The Jolly Boys’ Outing, first broadcast in 1989 when Del and the gang go on their annual “beano” to Margate.
Firefighters used a stretcher to remove a woman from a Dagenham flat piled high with clutter during a seven-hour rescue operation.
