Children at a Dagenham primary school welcomed Amazon staff to celebrate a new breakfast club partnership.

Monteagle Primary School is one of 77 across the country to benefit from the online retailer’s support for charity Magic Breakfast, which provides children with a healthy start to the day.

The team from Amazon’s Thurrock depot rolled up their sleeves to dish up food and drink to youngsters at the Burnham Road school.

Headteacher Paul Campbell said: “Magic Breakfast provision is having a big impact on our children, with pupils enjoying time each morning to socialise before starting their lessons settled and ready to learn.

“Monteagle is delighted to be one of the schools whose breakfast provision is supported by Amazon and we look forward to the opportunities this new partnership will bring to the whole school community”.
