Two schools in Barking and Dagenham are closed as wintery weather sweeps across the capital.

Dagenham Park Church of England School and William Bellamy Primary School are closed to all pupils today, the latter due to boiler failures.

Other schools in the borough are open as usual, according to information on Barking and Dagenham Council’s website.
