Asda workers cleared Goresbrook Park of rubbish as part of the supermarket’s nationwide community scheme.

The group of employees from the store in Merrielands Crescent, Dagenham, and a couple of residents spent one hour filling rubbish bags full of litter on September 12.

It forms part of Asda’s Community Life initiative, which was launched in March and encourages stores across the country to give something back to their community by clearing rubbish, working with schools, holding fundraising events and running Asda career days.
