The sun came out as youngsters had fun learning how to fish at Dagenham’s beautiful Eastbrookend Country Park.
Ranger Andy Flegg held a two day float fishing course for beginners by Tom Thumb lake last Monday and Tuesday.
The young people, aged from ten to 15, were given lots of tips by Andy and provided with equipment and bait.
