A crash involving two cars, a motorbike and two vans caused extensive disruption to motorists.

Emergency services were called to the A13 in Barking at 6am on Thursday and treated one person at the scene. No arrests were made.

A seven-mile tailback westbound stretching back to the Wennington junction caused delays throughout the morning.
