Man from Ilford charged with the murder of Raja Ali in Dagenham

An Ilford man has been charged with the murder of Raja Ali in Dagenham.

Haziq Raza, 24, of Meath Road, Ilford is accused of killing the 33-year-old in Braintree Road, on September 25, 2016.

Haziq was charged with murder and violent disorder following his arrest by detectives on Monday, January 8.

He will appear in court at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court today, January 9.

Navarda Rhooms, 26, of Eton Road, Ilford was also accused of killing Raja Ali.

Navarda was remanded in custody to appear before the Old Bailey for a plea and trial preparation on March 23.
