The Asda in London Road, Barking where the incident took place


A man has been assaulted outside a supermarket this afternoon.

Police were called at 12.16pm to the Asda in London Road, Barking, after paramedics reported a victim in his late teens had been attacked.

The victim was treated in an ambulance at the scene.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and bailed to a date in mid-December.
