New Managing Director Appointed By Olympic Security Firm
A security company which helped to provide security at the Aquatics Centre during the construction of the Olympic Park has appointed a new managing director.
Claire Lambert will lead Charter Security Plc in Cambridge Road, Barking, which also guarded the Cutty Sark in Greenwich after it was ravaged by fire in 2007.
Ms Lambert will follow in the footsteps of her father Gerry, who founded the company in 1979.
Ms Lambert said: “This is a huge privilege taking on the responsibility for the business that my father Gerry Lambert has built with such passion and commitment over the past 33 years and that has been such a major part of my life.
“I am excited at developing the business further. At the same time we are mindful of keeping our family values intact – a major factor in Charter’s success.” Ms Lambert was previously the commercial director of Charter Security.
In a rather fairytale fashion, Alyson and Tarush Agrawal set eyes on each other in Tarush’s native India where Alyson was working, they clicked immediately, and before long were very much in love.
