Two men were arrested following a crash in Longbridge Road, Barking which left four people injured.
A Mercedes, A BMW, and a bus collided at 6.35am yesterday near the junction with Broadhurst Avenue.
A six-year-old girl, a five-year-old boy and two men aged 29 and 23 were taken with non-life threatening injuries to the major trauma centre at Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.
The driver of the Mercedes was arrested at the scene for dangerous driving and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
The driver of the BMW was later arrested for failing to provide a blood sample, driving without a driving licence, driving without insurance and dangerous driving.
The young girl was treated for facial injuries and the boy for facial injuries and an arm injury. The 29-year-old male suffered an arm injury. The injuries of the second man are not known.
Three people were assessed by ambulance crews at the scene but were not taken to hospital.
Longbridge Road was closed from Goodmayes Lane to South Park Drive in both directions until 11.06am. Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
