Transfer news: Mamadou Sakho has ruled out a move away from France

Arsenal are set to miss out on transfer target Mamadou Sakho after the France defender committed his future to current club Paris St Germain.

The big spending French club have brought in Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Brazilian Thiago Silva, which looked to have paved a way for 22-year-old defender to exit Ligue 1.

With Premier League giants like the Gunners and Liverpool poised to swoop, the PSG man has revealed his intends to stay in the French capital.

“This season my challenges are big, very big,” he told PSG’s official website.

“The fight for the title is our goal and also to make it big in the Champions League. It is important to build the team, and my aspirations are to stay here.”
