Transfer news: Robert Lewandowski could be heading to the Premier League
Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham target Robert Lewandowski has admitted he would like to play in the Premier League but insists he is happy at his current club.
The Blues have reportedly had a bid rejected for the 23-year-old Borussia Dortmund striker has scored 30 Bundesliga goals in 67 games and 15 goals in 45 games for Poland.
“The Premier League is a league that I would like to play in, and I hope it happens sometime,” Lewandowski told ESPN.
“Although I am happy at Dortmund, I always like to aspire to greater heights.”
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has played down suggestions he wants Rafael Benitez to be the club’s new head coach and claimed the delegation that visited England yesterday was hoping to secure an exchange deal with Manchester City for Edinson Cavani.
