Tomas Rosicky could soon focus on playing for the Gunners
Arsenal star Tomas Rosicky is considering announcing his international retirement after the Czech Republic bowed out of Euro 2012 against Portugal last night.
The 31-year-old missed the game due to an Achilles injury and felt that his time at international level was coming to a close.
“I know I’m not the youngest anymore,” Rosicky said. “I’ve had problems with my health so I will take time to think.
“I would love to continue but I’m not stupid, I know I’m getting older and older.”
Transfer news: Scout and former sporting director of French club Monaco Tor-Kristian Karlsen has claimed that Liverpool are set to pip Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United to the signing of Schalke defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos.
