Transfer news: Andrey Arshavin has been linked with a move away from the Emirates
Arsenal forward Andrey Arshavin is open to a move to Turkey, according to his agent.
Turkish giants Galatasary are reportedly leading the race to sign the 31-year-old Russian, who is also a target for Mark Hughes’ QPR.
And Arshavin’s agent Dennis Lachter says his client would be happy to move to the Turkish league.
“We have no problem going to Turkey,” Lachter told the Daily Mirror.
Arshavin spent the second half of last season on loan at former club Zenit St Petersburg and is expected to hold talks over his future with manager Arsene Wenger in the coming weeks.
Transfer news: Scout and former sporting director of French club Monaco Tor-Kristian Karlsen has claimed that Liverpool are set to pip Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United to the signing of Schalke defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos.
