Transfer news: Malaga have received offers for Salomon Rondon
Malaga have received bids for star man, Salomon Rondon, who has caught the eye of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.
The 22-year-old has scored 25 goals in 67 La Liga appearances for Malaga and already has 24 caps for Venezuela.
“Rondon has had substantial offers from both Germany and England,” Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini told AS.
“To stay here, to have time to demonstrate his worth, it has been important to Malaga and hopefully we can have him for longer.
The former Real Madrid manager admitted it was hard to make any player ‘untransferable’ and admitted: “It is difficult to know what will happen.”
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has played down suggestions he wants Rafael Benitez to be the club’s new head coach and claimed the delegation that visited England yesterday was hoping to secure an exchange deal with Manchester City for Edinson Cavani.
