Transfer news: Bongani Khumalo is set to leave White Hart Lane for Greece
Tottenham defender Bongani Khumalo is set to complete a season-long loan move to Greek side PAOK Thessaloniki.
The South Africa international needs to agree personal terms with the club before the move can be completed.
“The clubs have agreed and the player and myself will be travelling to Greece this week with a view to agreeing and finalising the player’s personal terms for the loan deal,” agent Glyn Binkin told KickOff.com.
Khumalo never made a first-team appearance for Tottenham and spent loan spells at Preston and Reading.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has played down suggestions he wants Rafael Benitez to be the club’s new head coach and claimed the delegation that visited England yesterday was hoping to secure an exchange deal with Manchester City for Edinson Cavani.
