Match results: Twelve fished Redbridge Silverfish Lakes for the Tuesday Open – and it was a close-run thing at the top.
I Groome and R Morrison had to share top honours after they both finished with a total catch of 25lbs 14ozs. Third went to P Toye with 22lbs 8ozs.
Elm Park & Hornchurch DAS held their annual Secretaries match at Redbridge Lakes on the Cuthbert Lake.
Martyn Cass had top weight with 21lbs 9ozs, with Steve Ewin second on 18lbs 6ozs 8dms.
Third went to Mickey Steadman on 17lbs 6ozs and Dave Boyland was fourth with 17lbs 4ozs.
Keith Austin finished fifth on 12lbs 12ozs and sixth went to John Aldis with 12lbs 4ozs.
In total the Secretaries team weighed in a total of 83lbs 15ozs 8dms to take the team title ahead of the Captains team which finished with 64lbs 8ozs.
It was a 16-peg match at the Saturday Open on Redbridge Lakes and Gary Eales came home with the title with a total catch of 20lbs 12ozs.
Mark Linford was second on 19lbs 14ozs, while third spot went to J Davies with 14lbs 8ozs.
Victorious
Terry Sineau was victorious in the Saturday Open on Tylers Common’s Horeshoe Lake in a 36-peg match.
He finished a clear winner with a total of 174lbs 14ozs, with Ross Harold back in second on 150lbs 10ozs.
Bill Reynolds took third spot on 137lbs 12ozs ahead of Mark Brown in fourth with 134lbs 8ozs.
Mark Linford took top spot in the Sunday Silverfish match at Redbridge Lakes, denying Gordon Bullock who took second spot with 23lbs 13ozs.
Third went to J Curtis with 20lbs 15ozs and Steve Crawley occupied fourth spot with 19lbs 4ozs.
