Barking Road Runners’ Cristina and Trevor Cooper tackled the Mince Pie Revenge duathlon at Lee Valley Velopark.

Both completed the two-mile run and six-mile bike ride sprint distance event in their Havering Tri vests, with Trevor home first in 56 minutes 26 seconds.

Meanwhile, Cristina completed the Olympic Park course in 1:05.17.

Philip Ellul achieved a personal goal of finishing first at the latest Barking parkrun, in 18.11, ahead of clubmates Colin Jones (22.11) and Ron Vialls (22.14).

Katherine Withyman (28.55) ran her 50th parkrun at Valentines, behind Kevin Wotton (21.05) and Rory Burr (22.10).

Gary Harford (26.44) took on the Raphael parkrun, while Paul Ward (21.02) and Marilyn Martin (22.25) were in action at the Gunpowder event.

Barry Culling (24.21) tackled Tooting Common, as Vicky Cooper (22.43) ran at Melksham and Kresh Veerasamy (30.41) took on the Nidda parkrun.
