Dagenham 88 Runners had a quieter weekend than normal, with the annual Santathon for St Francis Hospice being cancelled.

Trevor Robinson took on the Ware Cup event in Loughton and covered the five-mile, cross-country course in 39 minutes 18 seconds.

Hannah Sheikh was in action at the Regents Park 10k, while Louise Chappell (28.14), Julie Cardnell (34.56) and Lynne Northcott (42.20) were at the Barking parkrun.

Ryder Islam (24.09) pipped Nils Hollmann (24.22) at Valentines, ahead of Manji Game (24.38).

Sheikh and Rahana Islam both clocked 26.36 as Beverley Eagles ran 32.38.

Vennisa Chowdhury (29.40) was at Roding Valley, while Caroline Tuck (21.54) was at Bushy and Timi (28.17), Sonya (30.16) and Sam Veerasamy (33.55) ventured to Greenwich.

Meanwhile, Dagenham’s Amelia Beazeley (21.03) and Ryder Islam (21.39) defied the snow at the Barking & Dagenham junior parkrun.
