Stillwater report: Tylers Common has seen the carp spawning in their hundreds, but fortunately the cycle has now finished.

All the lakes are fishing well, with good match results. Pleasure anglers are also getting good returns with all methods producing likewise with most baits.

Redbridge Silverfish Lakes are seeing anglers having double-figure catches, with roach, rudd, skimmers, crucians also some quality bream. Again, baits needed are simple maggot caster pinkies and corn.

Match results: Elm Park & Hornchurch held their Feeley Field Trophy at their Brentwood fishery recently and top weight went to John Aldis with 20lbs 13ozs.

Colin Luff was second with 16lbs 4ozs and third went to Bernie Hamilton with 12lbs 8ozs 8dms.

Fourth spot was won by Keith Austin with 12lbs 4ozs, while D Alexander took fifth with 10lbs 4ozs.

Maldon AS fished their Tuesday concessionary match at their Slough House Farm Lake.

Dave Foster took top spot with an all-roach catch of 20lbs 2ozs, with Dave Harley second with 19lbs 8ozs, third went to Albert Kitchen with 18lbs 12ozs.

Dave Auston took fifth with 15lbs 3ozs.

Elm Park’s annual pairs match was held at Suffolk Water Park where Peter Jones and Colin Luff won with a total weight of 216lbs 15ozs.

Second place went to Bernie Hamilton and Dave Tosley with a haul of 150lbs 7ozs 8dms, while Dave George junior and Keith Leverett took third with a total weight of 150lbs 5ozs.
