Brentford rounded off their pre-season programme with a comfortable win over Wycombe Wanderers.
Clayton Donaldson gave the Bees a 38th minute lead before a Grant Basey own goal doubled the advantage four minutes late.
Harlee Dean’s own goal just before the hour mark reduced the deficit for the Chairboys but Stuart Dallas restored the two goal lead with 20 minutes remaining.
And six minutes later Kevin O’Connor fired home to seal the win and give the visitors confidence going into the new season, which begins on Saturday with a Capital One Cup clash against Walsall.
