Barking & Dagenham Cycling Club members have been very busy over the past seven days.

Amy Harvey was third in the midweek summer series race at Redbridge Cycling Centre, before Leah Warrilow took third in a time trial stage at the Cyclopark two days later.

Harvey finished fourth in the same under-14 girls’ race, with Jasmine Cornelius in sixth place.

Tilly Malbon was sixth in the under-16 race, ahead of Melissa Warrilow and Hannah Morgan, while Max Wilkins (eighth) and Damian Dodd (12th) competed in the boys’ event.

David and Stefan Bujdei performed well in the under-10 race, before Saturday saw youngsters back at Cyclopark and Harvey was second ahead of Warrilow (fourth) and Cornelius (fifth).

Wilkins was 18th in the under-16 boys’ race and this weekend sees youngsters compete in the National Championships on successive days at Redbridge and Cyclopark.
