Eden Hazard is delighted after he made his Blues debut
Chelsea new boy Eden Hazard believes he has adapted quickly to English football, despite tasting defeat on his competitive Blues debut.
The west Londoners were beaten 3-2 by Premier League champions, Manchester City in the Community Shield.
Despite that setback the 21-year-old believes he has what it takes to succeed.
“I’ve already found what I came for in England – beautiful stadium, beautiful pitch and big atmosphere,” he told L’Equipe.
“Beyond the result, I am happy with that first test. I felt at ease. We still have to sort out some details in attack but it will come. I am confident. I have adapted quickly.”
Transfer news: Scout and former sporting director of French club Monaco Tor-Kristian Karlsen has claimed that Liverpool are set to pip Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United to the signing of Schalke defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos.
