David Luiz has been named in the Brazil squad
Chelsea star David Luiz has named in Brazil’s 16-man squad for the London 2012 Olympic competition, meaning it is likely he will miss the Community Shield clash against Manchester City.
The tournament starts on July 26 with the final scheduled for August 11, a day before the clash at Villa Park.
Luiz is one of three players over the age of 23 in the squad – the maximum allowed.
Alleged Blues target Lucas Moura has also been named in the squad.
