Transfer news: Christian Eriksen commits to Ajax

Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham target Christian Eriksen intends to remain at Ajax for at least another season.

The 20-year-old Denmark international is considered to be one of the most promising central midfielders and has been linked with a big money move to England.

“I think it’s worth spending another year at Ajax because what really interests me now is to play and grow as a player,” he told Dutch newspaper de Telegraaf.

“I do not need to risk anything and take a wrong step in my career. We’ll see what can happen in summer of 2013.”
