New Dagenham & Redbridge loanee Ayo Obileye will hope to play another prominent role on Saturday and could go up against his friend Hayden White.

The Charlton Athletic defender started his first match for the Victoria Road club last Saturday against Carlisle United and may face White, who is on at Bury from Bolton Wanderers, this weekend.

And the Daggers defender is aiming to come out on top at Gigg Lane.

“I use to be with Hayden at Sheffield Wednesday’s Academy,” said Obileye.

“He is a good lad and we are looking forward to playing Bury and beating them.

“Hayden is a right-back but it will depend on what position they play him in but all we are looking to do is go there and win.”

The 20-year-old is confident about taking three points from the Shakers on Saturday.

He wants to give manager Wayne Burnett another victory to celebrate and praised the Daggers boss.

“It will be good to go there and get the three points from them,” added Obileye.

“The manager is great, he is great with the boys and actually fantastic.

“You might not see it but inside he is fantastic. We love him and want to do whatever we can for him.

“We will give 110 per cent and work and get the wins that he needs.”

Obileye started alongside Scott Doe and Brian Saah as part of three central defenders during last weekend’s 4-2 victory and will hope to earn another start versus Bury.
