Trinidad & Tobago international unavailable for Daggers next two matches

Dagenham & Redbridge midfielder Andre Boucaud will be unavailable on Saturday for the FA Cup first round tie against Southport after receiving an international call up to the Trinidad & Tobago national team.

Boucaud featured for the Soca Warriors in October and will now take part in the Caribbean Cup Finals in Jamaica.

A pre-tournament training camp has already started therefore the midfielder is unavailable this weekend.

Trinidad are scheduled to play three group matches against Curacao, French Guiana and Cuba, taking place between November 10-14.

And if Boucaud can help his country top their group they will qualify for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup, and the winner of the tournament will earn qualification to the 2016 Copa America.

The tournament doesn’t conclude until November 17, therefore the 30-year-old will also miss Daggers’ league fixture with AFC Wimbledon.

Victoria Road manager Wayne Burnett will hope to have midfielder Luke Howell to choose from this weekend in the FA Cup to help supplement the loss of Boucaud.
