He made his first-team debut for the Griffin Park side against Derby in the Capital One Cup last August, before featuring in a 2-1 Johnstone’s Paint Trophy defeat to eventual tournament winners Peterborough United, and also made his league debut in the 4-1 loss to Colchester United in April.
Prior to that he has spent spells on loan in non league with Carshalton Athletic, Maidenhead United and Braintree Town after joining the Bees Academy in 2011.
And Clarke can go straight into the side for tomorrow’s home game against Mansfield Town.
On the loan signing, Burnett said: “Josh is a good, quick young winger who will definitely benefit the group. He’s had limited first team experience at Brentford, but hopefully the loan spell will prove useful for all parties.”
