Corey Whitely played his part in four goals as Dagenham & Redbridge romped to a 5-0 friendly success over Queens Park Rangers under-23s.

Inside five minutes, Whitely was fouled inside the box, with the Essex club awarded a penalty.

The former Enfield Town man stepped up to take the spot kick, which was saved by the QPR keeper, but Whitely was first to react and tapped home the rebound.

Four minutes later, the 25-year-old found the net again, turning in a Jake Howells cross from the left.

Whitely then turned provided eight minutes before half time, teeing up right back Ben Nunn, who slammed the ball into the roof of the net.

And in the 39th minute, Whitely continued his impressive first half when his shot took a deflection, before finding the net.

Mason Bloomfield completed the scoring in the 61st minute as Daggers secured a comfortable win over their west London rivals.
