National League outfit offering highest bidder chance to take charge of team in game on March 21

Dagenham & Redbridge are offering the chance for one lucky bidder to manage the first-team squad for their upcoming friendly against West Ham United.

The club have started an auction for the opportunity to manage the team in the match on March 21 to help raise much-needed funds.

As part of the offer, the winning bidder will receive a personalised manager’s kit to keep; meet the players and staff; oversee the warm-up; lead the team onto the field of play; direct play from the technical area; and entertain West Ham boss David Moyes and his staff after the game.

The winning bidder will also win two tickets in the Carling Stand for guests, as well as a commemorative memento of the day.

Bids starting at £500 can be made by sending an email to adminassistant@daggers.co.uk, with the club revealing the current highest bid on their website at 1pm each day until the end of the auction on March 16. The auction is open to over-18s only.
