Greens bring in young Daggers duo on month-long deals

Dagenham & Redbridge youngsters Joe White and Liam Gordon have joined Bostik Premier outfit Hendon on a month’s loan.

The young pair will hope for plenty of game time in their spell with the Greens, who are pushing for promotion to the National League South this term.

White has featured three times for the Daggers first team this campaign, and marked his full debut in September by scoring the opener in a National League win over Gateshead.

The young striker enjoyed a prolific loan spell with Wealdstone in the National League South last season, scoring five goals for the Grosvenor Vale side.

Gordon, meanwhile, has yet to feature for the Essex club’s first team, though did captain a select XI in their Essex Senior Cup loss at Grays Athletic last month.

Both White and Gordon will help the loan spell at Silver Jubille Park, which last until February 9, helps aid their development as footballers.
