Daggers boss Wayne Burnett will look to the loan market to strengthen his squad ahead of Oxford United’s visit to Victoria Road on Saturday.

The loan transfer window closes tomorrow and with the news of Zavon Hines’ season ending injury, the Daggers chief is currently looking over his options, with a wide man and a defender at the top of his list.

One believed to be on that list is West Ham United youngster Blair Turgott.

The winger spent a spell on loan last season at League Cup finalists Bradford City, where Hines also played, and was with League One side Rotherham United earlier in the season, though only featured in one game for the Millers.

“We are looking to bring one or two players in,” said Burnett.

“We have identified a player who we are going to bring in who is not too far from here. I don’t want to say his name just in case it breaks down but we will be bringing in one and hopefully another.”

Burnett believes he needs to bring in another winger, with Cambridge United loanee Ashley Chambers set to head back to the Conference Premier club at the end of his month, which expires after the Wycombe Wanderers match on April 5.

“I think we are going to bring in a wide player because Chambers’ loan runs out after the Wycombe game,” he added.

“They may call him back so I am going to try and bring in a wide player and maybe a defender.”

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.
