Daggers midfielder set to start at Oxford United after suspension ruled him out of last two matches

Joss Labadie will make an immediate return to the Dagenham & Redbridge starting XI tonight at Oxford United after serving a two-game ban.

The Daggers skipper missed the draw at home to Carlisle United last Tuesday and Saturday’s trip to Hartlepool United after collecting his 10th booking of the season.

With Andre Boucaud not enjoying the best of afternoons in the north east on Saturday, he looks most likely to make way for Labadie.

There could also be a change in defence too, with Dom Hyam returning at centre back after also missing the last two games with a head injury.

Hyam needed almost 50 stitches after a receiving a nasty cut above his eye as Daggers ended their home hoodoo against York City earlier this month.

But the on-loan defender has been deemed fit enough to play tonight and looks likely to partner Joe Worrall, with Clevid Dikamona dropping out while the match may come too soon for new signing Quade Taylor.

Oliver Hawkins could be set for his first start this month with fellow striker Christian Doidge struggling to find the net in recent games.

Otherwise, it appears to be as you were for Daggers in terms of their starting XI who will be keen to ensure their winless run does not stretch to three games tonight.

Doubts still remain over the fitness of Frankie Raymond, Matt Richads and Luke Guttridge, while Zavon Hines remains a long-term concern after recently having another operation on the knee injury that has kept him out since October.

Probable XI: O’Brien; Hoyte, Worrall, Hyam, Widdowson; Passley, Labadie, Cash, Muldoon, Hemmings: Hawkins
