Dagenham & Redbridge secured another away success to delight their travelling fans as Luke Howell tapped home early in the second half to seal a derby triumph.

Wayne Burnett had made changes to the team by introducing Christian Doidge and Joss Labadie and it worked perfectly.

It was an impressive team performance that ensured they kept a 12th clean sheet of the campaign and earned a 14th league win of the season.

Mark Cousins (7) – Once again Daggers number one had little to do but did make two important punches from set pieces in the first half. Stop from Bruno Andrade in stoppage time was also key.

Abu Ogogo (8) – A terrific display by the away captain as he worked incredibly hard and defended strongly on the right.

Scott Doe (7) – Some shaky moments for the experienced central defender and gave away free kick early on, but improved as game went on.

Ayo Obileye (6) – A bit clumsy at times and struggled with movement of Kevin Lisbie and Charlie Lee, but like partner Doe grew into game.

Joe Widdowson (8) – The left-back is turning into Mr. Consistent. His performances of late have got better and better and he was excellent against Stevenage. Man of the match display.

Luke Howell (8) – Another vital strike by Daggers experienced midfielder. He was in the right place at the right time, but worked tirelessly throughout.

Andre Boucaud (8) – Trinidad and Tobago international covered a lot of ground and was sharp with his passing, used his experience really well.

Joss Labadie (8) – His first start since January and he tried to support Doidge as best he could. Great energy throughout and impressive performance.

Billy Bingham (8) – He did tire towards end of match, resulting in his substitution, but played very well and was intelligent to create the winner.

Ashley Hemmings (6) – It wasn’t his most influential game, but despite that he continued to battle away at his full back.

Christian Doidge (8) – Excellent display from Welsh forward making his first appearance since November. He battled for every ball and ran himself into the ground.

Substitutes:

Jamie Cureton, for Doidge 75. (6) – Only a short cameo for 39-year-old, but he made a big impression with his desire and work rate.

Matt Partridge, for Bingham 80.
