Although the clash at Victoria Road started at a quick pace, Daggers and Pompey played out a bore draw in the end.

Chances were few and far between and neither side was able to create enough in the final third of the pitch and a draw was the fair result.

Mark Cousins (7) – A quiet night for Daggers number one, who didn’t have to do much all evening except make one or two saves – nothing too strenuous though.

Abu Ogogo (7) – Another impressive performance from the captain at right-back. He showed good energy throughout and was solid defensively.

Scott Doe (7) – He did a great job marking Ryan Taylor and Matt Tubbs out of the game and won most of his aerial battles. Top display.

Ayo Obileye (8) – Superb battle with Tubbs all game and got the better of the former AFC Wimbledon man. He won numerous headers and was close to scoring his first Daggers goal, but couldn’t connect with header in first half.

Joe Widdowson (7) – Solid again from the left-back. He is slowly getting up to speed and quietly goes about his business.

Luke Howell (6) – Hard working performance from midfielder, but he was unable to influence play like he would hope. He provided good cover on right side, though.

Billy Bingham (8) – Wonderfully composed game in the middle of the park and worked tirelessly to win the battle against three central players in middle for Portsmouth.

Andre Boucaud (8) – Trinidad and Tobago international shined next to Bingham and controlled proceeding at Victoria Road. He tried flicks and was unlucky not to hit the target from range. Man of the match.

Ashley Hemmings (6) – He had two efforts off target in the opening exchanges of the match, but not as prominent as in past games - nevertheless a tireless performance.

Jamie Cureton (7) – Experienced forward was a constant threat all evening and although he didn’t have the opportunity to shoot at goal, he was always causing Pompey problems.

Alex Jakubiak (6) – Youngster did well alongside Cureton, but the pair were on wrong wave length at times. He did show glimpses of class and again did decent job up top.

Substitutes:

Daniel Carr, for Cureton 81.

Jodi Jones, for Jakubiak 90.
