Youcef Dahmani provides the player ratings following the 3-1 win at home to Wealdstone in the FA Cup
A great attacking display in the second half against Wealdstone saw Dagenham & Redbridge secure safe passage to the first round of the FA Cup with a 3-1 success, though the National League promotion hopefuls did not have it all their own way.
It took just over half an hour for Daggers to the lead through Fejiri Okenabirhie, but they were pegged back by Stones on the stroke of half-time when Matty Whichelow’s deflected effort looped over Mark Cousins.
Oliver Hawkins fired the Essex club back in front after the break and was soon joined on the scoresheet by Jordan Maguire-Drew.
The Brighton & Hove Albion loanee’s goal rounded off a comfortable afternoon for John Still’s men, who can now look forward to tonight’s draw.
Mark Cousins (6) - Got some valuable minutes under his belt and made some good saves, but there was little he could do about Wealdstone’s goal.
Joe Widdowson (7) - Again proved he is capable of playing in either full-back position and contributed in attack.
Scott Doe (7) - Showed his experience in closing down the channels quickly and efficiently.
Craig Robson (7) - Demonstrated why he should partner Doe at the back with another solid defensive display.
Frankie Raymond (7) - Was again used in the unfamiliar position of left-back, but is continuing to adjust well to life as a defender.
Andre Boucaud (7) - Controlled the match from the middle of the park and was good in possession.
Matt Robinson (7.5) - Turned in a brilliant box-to-box display, contributing in all areas of the pitch.
Jordan Maguire-Drew (7) - Took his goal well and it showed exactly what he is capable of, especially the skill and composure with which he beat his man.
Corey Whitely (7.5) - Was unfortunate not to score at least one, but regardless proved he is a key component in Daggers’ strike force.
Fejiri Okenabirhie (7.5) - Contributed well throughout by providing some dangerous balls into the box.
Oliver Hawkins (8) - Ended his goal drought, but also proved his link-up play is improving with a great assist for Okenabirhie to open the scoring.
