Daggers boss Still to make alterations after disappointing defeat

Dagenham & Redbridge could make as many as four changes for their trip to play-off hopefuls Mansfield Town, including a switch in formation, as they look to end a five-game winless run in League Two.

John Still moved to a 4-1-2-1-2 last time out against Barnet, but it was a formation that failed to sting the Bees as Daggers lacked enough width to cause their London rivals problems.

Both Jodi Jones and Ashley Chambers were introduced during the second half as the east Londoners switched to a flat 4-4-2, and while neither were able to have much of an impact on that game, they look in pole position to start at Field Mill if Still chooses that formation.

That would mean two of the midfield four would make way, with Andre Boucaud and Frankie Raymond perhaps most at risk of losing their starting spots.

There could also be a change at left back too, with Joe Widdowson struggling for form in recnet weeks and Jack Connors knocking on the door to take over.

Up top, Still has chosen to pair Oliver Hawkins and Christian Doidge late on in recent games, so we may see the two start from the off at the Stags in what is expected to be a physical battle.

Other than that, Daggers look to be unchanged while Matt Richards and Matt McClure could be named among the substitutes.

with regards to long-term injury news, there are still no set dates for the returns of Zavon Hines (knee) and Luke Guttridge (thigh).

Probable XI: Cousins; Hoyte, Worrall, Hyam, Connors; Jones, Labadie, Muldoon, Chambers; Hawkins, Doidge
