League Two team news – Dagenham & Redbridge v Northampton Town

Dagenham & Redbridge have defender Scott Doe back available ahead of today’s game against Northampton Town.

The experienced centre half was sent off in the 2-0 loss at Wycombe Wanderers and served the last game of his three-match ban when the Daggers were beaten 1-0 on Easter Monday against Chesterfield.

And other than long-term absentees Zavon Hines (knee) and Rhys Murphy (groin), Wayne Burnett has a full squad to pick from.

Jordan Seabright is likely to continue in goal as he looks to earn a new contract at Victoria Road, while Ade Azeez (thigh) and Chris Dickson (personal) should be available to include in the matchday squad.

For Northampton, on-loan defender Zander Diamond is back available to boss Chris Wilder.

The Burton Albion loanee missed out on Easter Monday after suffering severe cramp in the 1-1 draw against Wycombe Wanderers.

Young striker Ivan Toney may well feature, with the Cobblers current goal-shy strikers not performing.

Alan Connell has failed to net since joining from Bradford, and Emile Sinclair only has two goals – both coming in a 2-1 win at Torquay United back in February.

John Marquis, on loan from Millwall, only has one to his name and their leading goalscorer in the league is Darren Carter with five.

And such is their problems up front, Luke Norris – currently on loan with the Daggers – is still in second from an earlier loan spell at Sixfields, having netted four goals.
