Shamir Fenelon and Jack Connors picked for Republic of Ireland under-21 squad

Dagenham & Redbridge have confirmed Jack Connors and Shamir Fenelon have received call-ups to the Republic of Ireland under-21 squad for their forthcoming UEFA U21 Championship qualifying round Group One fixture with Andorra.

Left-back Connors has been included in Noel King’s squad on numerous occasions and will hope to play some part in the match taking place at RSC, Waterford on March 26.

Fenelon, on loan at Victoria Road from Championship outfit Brighton & Hove Albion, has been included in the squad for the first time.

Ireland’s game against Andorra is the first of their qualifying campaign for the U21 Championship finals in 2017, hosted by Poland.

King spoke to www.fai.ie/ireland about the squad and new players involved, including Fenelon.

He said: “There are a couple of new additions to this squad who I’ve watched at their clubs over the past few months and we’re delighted that they have committed themselves to Ireland.”

Daggers host Wycombe Wanderers on March 28 and this international call-up could force Connors and Fenelon to miss that match.

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.
