Youngster joins Essex team for a month

Dagenham & Redbridge forward Jon Nouble has moved to Ryman North side Thurrock on a month’s youth loan, the non-league club have confirmed.

It is the 18-year-old’s third loan spell this season, as he spent the first half of the campaign with Conference Premier Welling United and Conference South St Albans City.

The Victoria Road youth academy graduate only returned from St Albans recently, but is off to Ship Lane and should be available for Fleet’s league match against Heybridge Swifts tomorrow (Saturday).

Nouble previously played for Thurrock on loan at the start of last season and enjoyed a successful time under manager Mark Stimson.

He featured 11 times, starting 10 matches, and found the net three times during his time at the club last year.

This campaign the forward has been restricted to cameo appearances during his two loan spells, and not played for the Daggers senior team.

Nouble made 12 appearances for Welling, but failed to score and was also sent off during his time at Park View Road.

He moved to St Albans at the start of November and made seven appearances for the Hertfordshire club, scoring once.

The loan at Thurrock is due to finish on January 17 and Nouble could potentially play in eight matches during that time.
