Former Leyton Orient and AFC Wimbledon ace departs Victoria Road

Dagenham & Redbridge have announced winger George Porter has left the club by mutual consent.

The 22-year-old’s contract with the Victoria Road outfit was set to end on February 2, however he has been allowed to leave a couple of days early.

He hasn’t featured for the first team since coming on against Stevenage on Boxing Day and has been largely out of favour since the start of December.

Porter was also at the centre of a social media controversy 10 days ago prior to Daggers Essex Senior Cup tie against Concord Rangers.

He tweeted: “On the way to the big game tonight at the theatre of dreams.”

That tweet wasn’t well received by Victoria Road supporters and Wayne Burnett’s team went on to lose the quarter-final tie 4-2 on penalties after the game ended level after 90 minutes.

Porter departs the club having scored twice in 22 appearances since signing his initial short-term contract in August before extending that in November.

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.

Who wouldn’t love the chance to go on a shopping spree. Imagine being able to walk into a shop and choose whatever your heart desires without having to worry about how much it costs.
